What’s it all about?

Sarah & Duck find some free seeds in their newspaper and plant them to see what grows.

This is the episode where:

• Sarah & Duck find some free seeds in a newspaper

• They find the perfect place to plant them in a mud patch in their front garden

• They wait patiently for the seeds to grow, finally heading to bed hoping that something will have grown by tomorrow

• In the morning, they find the seeds have grown into very small onions, onion children! So they encourage them to grow more by teaching them things

• After looking through their vegetable book they discover that they aren’t onion children at all, they are The Shallots, and they are meant to be small!

This is what we learn...

  • That it’s good to be patient
  • How vegetables grow
  • The names of some root vegetables
