Origami Overload
Season 2 – Episode 11
What’s it all about?
John has a problem with the origami flamingos he’s made and needs Sarah & Duck’s help.
This is the episode where:
• Sarah & Duck go to John’s house to return a film about boats they borrowed
• Flamingo and John have been making origami animals – folding paper to look like a model animal
• When John makes an origami flamingo, they all run away! He has made lots but can’t find them so, Sarah & Duck offer to help
• Sarah gets John to make another origami flamingo so they can follow it and see where they hide – eventually tracking it to the navigation room
• Using the radar they see it running off to Flamingo’s bedroom where they find all the little origami flamingo’s keeping warm in Flamingo’s bed
This is what we learn...
- ‘Origami’ is a way of making models by folding paper
- John is good at origami and has made lots of different animals
- A radar is a helpful device that helps people track where things are
- Duck rather likes the figureheads on sailing boats
